SplashData has put forward these suggestions for creating passwords:

  • a. Use eight characters or more
  • b.  Include different types of characters (letters, numbers, symbols)
  • c. Do not use the same username and password combinations for different websites
  • d. Use a password manager to protect your passwords and to help you generate passwords that are random and difficult for others to guess correctly.
