At the just concluded Nigerian Entertainment Conference 7 (NECLive7) on Wednesday, 24th April 2019, which held in the massive odeum of Landmark Event Centre, winners of the prestigious NET Honours for the year 2019 were announced.

The event saw an array of heavyweights like the veteran comedian, Alibaba and BBNaija star, Tobi walk away with their NET Honours certificate; a symbol of recognition for their impressive output in the year under review.

Renowned Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim emerged as the winner in the category of Most Popular African Celebrity alongside a slew of heavyweights in the continent, Sarkodie (Ghana), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa) and Victoria Kimani (Kenya).

Although the actress couldn’t make it to the conference to receive her award, today, Friday, April 26th April, Ibrahim paid a courtesy visit to ID Africa’s office to pick up her Award Plaque. Expressing her excitement on the win, she said; “I always see the support that you guys show me and I am thankful. We will definitely do more this year”.

This win posits that Juliet Ibrahim is the African celebrity with the highest degree of coverage on TheNETng’s website in the year under review.
