I was having lunch when curiosity grabbed my t*ts to look up what to do when you run low on money.

Some people can’t relate though ‘cause omo baba olowo. *laughs in broke*

Being broke can have you spinning out in a bad way. You might even have an occasional fever and chest pain because of your tons of worries and insecurities.

For those who don’t think they have money problems, if you fall into any of these categories, just take your ‘L’ jeje and use the money tips that will follow.

Are you living paycheck to paycheck? Are you dependent on someone financially – like your parents, siblings, relatives, lovers, Santa Claus, etc? Do you find yourself spending money by borrowing it from someone and not earning income at all?

If you answered YES to any of the questions above, then you definitely don’t have any money.

What then can you do when you don’t have any money?

Some tips I found had me in stitches. They were ridiculous!

Meet up friends or people you want to connect with
First of all, I’m broke bi**h. I can’t afford to take an Uber or split the bill after eating like my usual self.

Start to cook
Cook what exactly? Please dear, I can’t afford to buy the ingredients.

Get yourself a new look
Wait. What?! That sh** cost money!

I went deeper into the bushes and found more tips I could fu** with. Using these tips in the right way, I’m sure you’d see good changes in no time.

Ask for Money that is Owed to You
I like this song! If you have friends or clients who owe you money, this is a good time to follow up on that. Call. Them. Out.

Look for Ways to Bring in More Money
Start with your current job to see if there are ways for you to make more money there. Put your skills to good use fam. Half the time there are things in your house you no longer need, make money off them.

Build a Safety Net (ASAP!)
Spending money is fun! But that’s one reason why you’re on the broke lane right now. Why not change your ways. Save some money for the rainy day. Money experts say you should have up to three to six months worth of living expenses saved up.

Don’t Loan Money to Someone
Saying no can be hard but, you need to look out for yourself honey. Having no money for yourself means you also don’t have money for anyone else.

Avoid Buying Expensive Gifts (or any gift)
Valentine’s day is around the corner and I know you wanna shower him/her with gifts. First things first though, consider your budget before you go shopping. If you can’t afford to buy anything, then make a thoughtful gift.

Use these tips daily and watch as your financial situation not only gets better but stays in better shape over time. Got more tips? Please share.  👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
