The CEO and one co-founder of Uber Technologies Inc, Travis Kalanick resigned on Tuesday after much pressure from investors after a number of setbacks.

This includes accusations of harassment, bullying and unfair treatment of female workers, amongst numerous other complaints by dissatisfied employees and ex-employees.

Many think Kalanick’s resignation is the beginning of a new era and better management, as his style was largely considered too brash and insensitive.

For some however, Kalanick’s influence should not be underestimated as he will remain on Uber’s board, and hence could easily sway the new CEO his way.

What do you think? Will there be a change in Uber’s work ethics? Will the bullying and sexism be cut short or will things remain the same?
